Imagine:

Thoughts from spending the night/morning in Mt San Jacinto state park.

Evolution is the product of and is driven by boundless intention. Intention is the reason for our universe. I call it creativity. We are all beings of boundless and unimaginable creativity. We are moving and flowing through these four dimensions (including time) because of our proclivity to create.

Intention, Creativity, Dark Matter, Consciousness: they are all the same thing.

There is no self. This universe was created by the unquenchable Creativity which is understandable on dimensions other than our own (scientists believe there are between 8 and 10 dimensions). It manifests in our four; our physical world is a tool to expand and broaden Creativity. We, as humans, are vessels of concentrated consciousness interacting with one another. Creativity comes and goes from us. It is never taken, always given. The more we give, the more we have the capacity to receive (think of it as similar to breaking down muscle while working out to rebuild it even stronger). We have boundless potential.

There are levels of consciousness. It depends on where we focus our Creativity. Our ego is created by our brain's fear of consciousness beyond itself. And when we nurture our ego (as it is so easy to do in today's society) we are focusing our Creativity on one of the lowest levels of consciousness. This world is impermanent, it is flowing, it is all in our heads--why are we so afraid of this idea? Why do we need to be in control of our world? Why do we need to understand our world? Why do we need a purpose?

We need a purpose because we are purpose. But our individual purpose, no matter how noble, is not our true and guiding purpose. It is simple a means to helping realize a far greater purpose than we could ever imagine. We are a small building block of the purpose, the Creativity, of the universe. Consider a cell: if it hoards (ego), it is considered cancerous; it only keeps enough fuel for about three seconds of life, it relies on being provided for (taken from Deepak Chopra's Book of Secrets, which I highly recommend).

Oh, there is so much to say, so much to realize.

Life is simple. We complicate it out of fear of the unknown. But who says we need to know? There is no way to know. One believes there is God, but how can one know? Is not a miracle also explainable in the context of loving intention without the interaction of some higher sentient being?

Life is simple. The Truth of Life, the it,--the moments which scare you and send a shiver down your spine and when you feel there is so much more than what you can see--is eternal. Eternal meaning not that it will last forever but that it transcends the boundaries of our physical dimensions.

We do not know--anything. And that's okay.

  1. Well written! Simple, yes... but also such a mystery - a "secret" - that (for me) requires effort. Mindfulness is active, work even - meditation, yoga, concentrated thoughts of awareness and thankfulness, acts of kindness. Our daily physical lives can be distracting/demanding. My attempt is to make my daily life a constant, appreciative act of connection/creativity. But it is a step-by-step, day-by-day journey with all the ups and downs that (hopefully) draw me closer to that universal consciousness.
